| Star Trek has shown hundreds of friendships and scores of romances. Klingons have loved Romulans, Bajorans been seduced by Cardassians, and countless gorgeous women have been swept off their feet by William Shatner. Yet arguably the most unlikely of all these relationships has been that of Kira Nerys, former terrorist, with Odo, the authoritarian shape-shifting security officer. Although they were close and constant friends, love seemed unlikely. How could there be romance between humanoid and changeling, between fiery Kira and the seemingly cold, repressed Odo? However, they made it work. In time of war, in the face of prejudice and despite their differences, they maintained a relationship of sensitivity and utter respect. This site is a tribute to that relationship. |
